A woman wanted for a series of purse-snatchings earlier this year struck again late last month, according to police. In the most recent incident, her fingernails were painted green with diamonds, according to NBC.
“The suspect approched a 33-year-old woman as she was walking on 105th Street between Broadway and Amsterdam at about 1:45 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 29, according to police.
The robber was armed with a knife and demanded a purse from the victim, police said. The victim ran away, leaving the suspect empty-handed, and the suspect fled the scene.”
Earlier this year, she robbed women on Riverside Drive at 84th and 89th street, according to police.
She is about 5’5″ and is in her mid-20’s, police say. If you know anything about the crimes, contact Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
I am not a detective, but it seems to be a logical thing to have a detective canvas the nail saloons in the general area with flyers and questions to find an ID of the culprit. (Probably just flyers since there are dozens and dozens of nail places)
She’s probably on drugs.
Nah, probably just whiskey if she frequents the nail saloons.
Yes, she’s frequently seen quite hammered there.
