Shouldn’t we be collecting plant based foods and/or other sources of food to help the homeless rather than encouraging factory farming, the mass killing of animals which evidence shows contributes negatively to pollution? Soon enough, we will all be planet-less. Needless to say, I will not be providing anything to the West Side Campaign against Hunger if this is what they are promoting.
So the rest of the country will be eating turkeys but you want to start your anti factory farming campaign with the homeless just before Thanksgiving? What have you specifically done to change things (other than apparently going w/o a turkey) and are you prepared to provide plant based foods etc. to the WSCaH for the homeless?
Yes, indeed, Lynn. Thank you for posting!
According to AML and Lynn the only good turkey is a dead turkey
Please offer a solution and provide alternative food. Sarcasm doesn’t solve the hunger problem, nor does it save the planet.
If anyone can come up with a way to solve this, i bet it’s Lynn. She only has a few days left to save them and the pressure will start to show.
Sorry to disappoint you but this is something that I’m involved with year round, so no pressure here. I’m absolutely astonished that anyone would respond in such a way to a request to help feed the homeless, and families with children, who need help putting food on their tables.
Thanks for the online link! Easy to donate and happy to do so. 999 to go 🙂
