Readers sent in some great photos of the Pope, who rode through Central Park on Friday, and other shots of the neighborhood. Check them out below.

Photo by Robert Josman: “The Pope came by at the end of his route in Central Park. Before he left the park to ride in his motorcade to Madison Square Garden, he stepped out of the “pope-mobile” and into his new car for the ride. As he did so he took a moment and acknowledged the cheering crowds. Just as he did that this a very small rainbow occurred right of him in the sky, but it did not expand much above the area he was in. I’m not religious but it was an interesting coincidence.
Photo by Janice of the stage for the Global Citizen concert on Saturday. “In an attempt to capture the stage being built on the Great Lawn, I caught one of the towers as- well – let’s say a tribute to our visiting Pope.”
Great photo by Scott Matthews of the sunrise. Awesome colors.
