Hey married people: check the fourth finger on your left hand.
Missing something? If so, this might be of interest.
“I found a wedding ring in the snow on Columbus between 60th and 61st on Wed. afternoon. I would like to get the word out and ask anyone who lost a ring that day to send me an email identifying the ring so I can return it. I posted on Craigslist and put a sign in the window of the only store on that block.”
Contact our tipster through the Craigslist ad she set up. You’ll have to describe the ring, so stay away fraudsters.
And Happy Valentines week, everyone.
Very thoughtful. Good to know there are people like you out there!
I wish you were the one who found my lost ring.
I lost my diamond engagement ring back in June of last year around 81st and Broadway and never got it back.
I hope the owner of this ring is more lucky and sees your ad!
Kudos to the WSR.
It is stories like this that rarely get any press. You guys do this often. I have seen random acts of kindness all the time around “my neck of the woods”.
No one looks for recognition for these selfless acts. I think it is one of the things that makes this area so special to me.I know it is not unique, but I believe This is also one of the reasons that I so much enjoy reading this publication. It gives me that village feeling of people looking out for each other that I so love and makes me so very proud of you all.
Thanks.
I hope you get your ring. Come on people, remember Karma! Pay it forward and good things will come to you!
