A fire early Tuesday morning on Manhattan Avenue and 103rd street resulted in three injuries and drew a large response from the fire department.
The fire on the fifth floor of 50 Manhattan Avenue was called in at 3:13 a.m., and received an “all-hands” response, an FDNY spokesman said. Sixty members came to the scene and had the blaze under control by 4:02 a.m.
Three civilians had minor injuries and were transported to St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital, according to the spokesman. No word yet on what sparked the fire.
“I took the pics from west 14th 103 Street, the sound of windows breaking woke me up at 3 something in the morning,” wrote Monica Gadda, who sent in the photos above and below.

Maybe she meant 14 W103rd. That would be across the street, down a little.
