Rafi Kopelan, a 6-year-old artist and student of The Art Studio NY struggling with severe Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), known as “the worst disease you’ve NEVER heard of”, will exhibit her artwork during the Fall for Art event along with 100 other students of all ages. Proceeds from raffle tickets and artwork will benefit Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa Research Association of America (dEBra). Founded in 1980, dEBra is the only national non-profit dedicated to funding research for treatments and a cure, while providing services and programs for those who suffer from Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). EB is a debilitating and often fatal connective tissue disorder that affects 1 out of every 20,000 births in the United States. www.debra.org
