I wouldn’t consider property tax deductions as subsidies, as they exist to avoid double-taxation. After paying Fed, state, local, SS and Medicare taxes, what’s left is after-tax $s. if property taxes weren’t deductible, one could find all of their after tax income eaten by even more taxes
Let’s talk about the vast subsidies that each of these buyers will get.

— various property tax reductions (on both the townhouse and condo)
— building property tax reductions / exemptions (on the condo)
I wonder why those who complain about the “subsidies” afforded the rent stabilized tenants never talk about the much greater subsidies afforded wealthy owners.
