We were contacted by The Animal Project, a New York nonprofit that helps find foster and permanent homes for animals. Candee, the calico pictured above, and her five siblings were born in a shed in Long Island. “They’re friendly, lovable, and are ready to come home with you.” There are lots more animals looking for homes too.
More from the Animal Project:
“Provide a Home for the Holidays! The Animal Project needs loving homes for cats and kittens. Whether you adopt or foster, you could change the life of a sweet feline in need of a warm cozy home instead of a cage. Adopt a cat or a pair of kittens and make Santa smile! Or foster some furry friends while they wait for their forever home which (you never know!) could turn out to be yours. Fostering is easy and very rewarding and adopting is pure magic. Please contact Carol at (212) 567-5206 if you would like more information. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and can be found online at www.nycanimalproject.org.”
Awwrrrrr! Wotta cute kitty!
Someone should get her a tasty treat.
Maybe something from KATZ’S Deli?
This is a great adoption organization that I help out with occasionally. Not only have I adopted from The Animal Project but I have also fostered and it is a very rewarding experience indeed. Not only would you be helping out a wonderful cause but you would also be helping out a wonderful woman (Carol) who gives her life to this work.
