The farmer’s market in Tucker Square on 66th street off of Broadway will move two blocks south to Dante Park starting next week. The greenmarket is open on Thursdays and Saturdays. This is from the Lincoln Square Business Improvement District:
“Starting Monday, September 30th, Richard Tucker Park, the cobblestone gem in the heart of Lincoln Square at Broadway between 65th and 66th Streets, will be temporarily closed by the Parks Department to make it ADA compliant and much more attractive. Construction is scheduled to last for approximately three weeks.
The Richard Tucker Greenmarket will temporarily move two blocks south to Dante Park, directly across from Lincoln Center, between 63rd & 64th Streets on Broadway and Columbus Avenue.
Lincoln Square’s Greenmarket is open Thursdays and Saturdays, year-round from 8:00am – 5:00pm. The farmers there sell a wide range of items including: seasonal vegetables, berries, stone fruit, over 80 varieties of apples, farmstead cheeses, fresh seafood, grass fed beef, duck, eggs, baked goods and New York’s only sorghum and maple syrup.
